If you want a thicker stem than you can achieve with metal wire, you can use this plastic hose. You shape your flower as usual, but when the flower head is finished, a piece of plastic hose is placed on the outside of the flower's stem/metal wire. Fix the plastic tube with a dab of glue (glue gun) and then cover the stem with floral tape or crepe paper. Then you get a nice, strong and flexible stem. Outer dimensions: Ø6 mm. The plastic hose is sold in whole meters - specify the number of meters and put the product in the basket.
